"Relationships Are Like Shoes"

Relationships are like shoes:
Until you try a pair on, how do you know it will be your favourite pair?

Some shoes you wear and they're uncomfortable.
Some shoes you wear and you like them for a while, but they start to wear out.
Some shoes you don't like the look of in the first place.
Some shoes aren't even the right size.

But you can't possibly know which will become your favourite pair of shoes until you try them on.
And it might take months of walking in them before they become your favourite.

So before you write off a pair of shoes because you think you won't like them,
At least give them a chance and try them on...

An Introduction to Philolsophy

I've set this blog up as a gift to my friend Jonn Karta. He's given myself and many others a lot of sound advice over the years, nearly always taking advantage of over-elaborate metaphors.

So this blog is for Jonn to record those metaphors. Some will need elaboration and some will need debate, but I hope one day people will look back at Jonn as a 21st Century Philolsopher!
